Maa Jahura Divyalok is a Socio-philanthropic, cum Spiritual organisation, dedicated to materializing ideals and teachings of Maa Jahura, the Sangha Janani of the organisation.

Maa Jahua, reverentially referred by her devotees as "Maa" (meaning Mother in Bengali) was born on 6th Day of Baisakh, 1347 (according to Bengali Calendar) , April 1941 in Ranaghat, sub-urban town about 80 kilometers away from Kolkata in the state of West Bengal, India.

Maa was born in a pious Hindu brahmin family and her given name in childhood was Bijansree Banerjee. Her father was Sree Sukhesh Chandra Bandopadhaya and her mother was Srimati Parimal Basini Bandopadhaya.

Flickers of spiritualism were perceptible since her early childhood days in her meditative spells and her philanthropic forwardness.

Maa Jahura Mandir (temple) stands at the holy site where our divine mother, Maa Jahura was born, in Ranaghat, a sub-divisional town in Nadia district of West Bengal, India.

Maa Jahura Divyalok was formed as an organization and came to existence under competent authority registered with W.B.S.A Act vide regd no. S/59544 of 1988-89.
